Job Description:
•Sites verification and acceptance guidance

•Planning Assessment for tuning of best server areas , areas of coverage ,
Ec/Io and RSCP.

•In deep analysis for network performance . •UTRAN Architectures assessment
for dimensioning Node Bs and Iub.

•Daily worst cell list is issued and analyzed every day with the main QoS
RRCüCall Drop Rate üindicators. Usually, the following indicators are
reported:  HHO interüHHO inter RAT success üSHO success üconnection succees
Rate.  BB Congestion.üDL Resources congestion. üUL interference
üFr4requency success  PS degradation (Rates negotiation) The listed worst
cell are then deeplyü analyzed with: -Business object tool -Drive tests
(last drive test campaign results or punctual drive test if necessary).

•A periodic drive test analysis is Trouble shooting forüperformed on the
network to complete the OMC-R metrics.  Tuning of 3G -3G relations and
3G-2G neighbors.üSoft HO and Hard HO problems.  PlanningüDrivetest analysis
for areas with call drop , low throughput..etc. ü parameters tuning to
match the Ec/Io ND rscp REQUIRED FOR DIFFERENT SERVICES (Voice, Video ,
HSDPA..etc).

•Features testing: Features bought by MTN Should be tested with
recommendations of implementation in a case by case scenario. (MBMS,
Logical Parameters : Tuning of current Logical AMR-WB , HSUPA…)
parameters.

Jakarta - Setiap penyelenggara layanan telekomunikasi diwajibkan membuat laporan tahunan mengenai kualitas layanan mereka (quality of services/QoS). Regulator nantinya akan melakukan pengecekan di akhir tahun (post audit).

Dalam melakukan pengecekan tersebut, anggota Badan Regulasi Telekomunikasi Indonesia (BRTI) Heru Sutadi mengatakan, regulator bisa sewaktu-waktu melakukan sidak ke operator. Sidak tersebut bisa berupa meminta laporannya langsung ke operator bersangkutan, melakukan pengecekan langsung atau berdasarkan laporan dari masyarakat.

“Dari laporan QoS itu nantinya bisa ketauan bagaimana kinerja operator. Kalau tidak memenuhi standar bisa kena sanksi,” ujar Heru kepada detikINET di Kantor Ditjen Postel, Selasa (22/4/2008).

Menkominfo sendiri dalam waktu dekat ini akan menandatangani 5 Rancangan Peraturan Menteri Kominfo yang terkait dengan standar kualitas pelayanan. Meskipun rancangan peraturan tersebut baru akan berlaku 3 bulan terhitung sejak ditandatangani oleh Menkominfo, namun bisa menjadi acuan kuat bagi pemerintah dalam melakukan kontrol terhadap kualitas layanan.

Diharapkan dengan adanya peraturan tersebut, para penyelenggara telekomunikasi akan menjadi lebih berhati-hati dalam bersaing memberikan layanannya. Lebih lanjut setelah di-post audit, lanjut Heru, kinerja seluruh operator akan dipublikasikan.

Position: 2G Radio Network Performance Improvement Engineer.
 
Start: ASAP
 
Rate: Around USD5500 per month gross.
 
Contract length: 3 month extendable.
 
Work location: Anywhere in India .
 
Management fees: Approximately USD250 per month
 
The solution is still to be 100% confirmed. We will be looking at a split income payroll where approximately USD2500 will be declared locally in India and taxed. The balance will be transferred to your account outside of India .
